Belle Chase Hotel - Fossanova

Mesmo no seio do auge da capital do rock português, surge em 1995 um projecto com uma sonoridade totalmente diferente. Antoine Pimentel (Bateria), Filipa (Violino), João Baptista (Baixo), JP Simões (Voz), Luis Pedro (Piano, Bandolim, Acordeon), Marco (Saxofone), Pedro Renato (Guitarras), Raquel Ralha (Voz) e Sérgio Costa (Guitarra e Flauta Transversal) constituiam a formação inicial dos Belle Chase Hotel. No mesmo espaço encontramos facilmente a bossa nova, o funk, soul, um cabaret bem próprio. Tudo isto numa banda pop portuguesa como não se ouvia desde os Pop Dell'Arte (da qual JP Simões também fez parte). Em 1998 lançam Fossanova, o seu primeiro álbum de originais, que mostrou o outro lado da Coimbra até então povoada pelo rock. Nesta primeira semana será o álbum que se esconde debaixo da cama, mas que nós vos faremos lembrar e relembrar...
